The South Carolina Hospitality Association and its affiliate, the South Carolina Tourism & Hospitality Educational Foundation, hold numerous industry events each year from educational training and seminars to dinners and meetings to statewide golf tournaments where hotel, resort, restaurant and other foodservice and lodging owners and managers come together to improve their business and assist the industry in remaining South Carolina's number one private-sector employer and segment of the state's economy.

The South Carolina Hospitality Association( SCHA) is a statewide coalition of hospitality businesses that serve this industry. We have members representing businesses from Rock Hill in the north to Hilton Head in the south, from Myrtle Beach on the coast to Seneca in the rolling hills.
The association was created in 1993 by and for South Carolina lodging and restaurant owners and managers as a means for them to deal with industry challenges that would be difficult, if not impossible to deal with alone. Our roots date back to 1944 when the South Carolina Innkeepers Association was founded, and 1950 with the South Carolina Restaurant Association.
SCHA is a statewide, non-partisan trade organization. Our mission is to promote, protect and educate the foodservice and lodging industries of the state and to ensure positive business growth for our members. SCHA strives to represent the best interest of its members on small business issues, hospitality and tourism concerns and towards the protection of South Carolina's quality of life.
T.H.E. Foundation is a 501(c)3 federally recognized non-profit educational foundation dedicated to providing education, training solutions, resources and research for South Carolina’s thriving hospitality and tourism industries.
