About Us
The Hospitality Association of South Carolina (HASC) is a statewide coalition of hospitality businesses that serve this industry. We have members representing businesses from Rock Hill in the north to Hilton Head in the south, from Myrtle Beach on the coast to Seneca in the rolling hills.
The association was created in 1993 by and for South Carolina lodging and restaurant owners and managers as a means for them to deal with industry challenges that would be difficult, if not impossible to deal with alone. Our roots date back to 1947 when the South Carolina Innkeepers Association was founded, and 1950 with the South Carolina Restaurant Association.
Mission Statement
HASC is a statewide, non-partisan trade organization. Our mission is to promote, protect and educate the foodservice and lodging industries of the state and to ensure positive business growth for our members. HASC strives to represent the best interest of its members on small business issues, hospitality and tourism concerns and towards the protection of South Carolina's quality of life.
T.H.E. Foundation is a 501(c)3 federally recognized non-profit educational foundation dedicated to providing education, training solutions, resources and research for South Carolina’s thriving hospitality and tourism industries.
