Political Action Committees

Members of the Hospitality Association of South Carolina understand the importance of helping candidates who are supportive of the hospitality and tourism industry and who have demonstrated awareness and appreciation of South Carolina's business community in general.  To that end, members of HASC and other supporters have established three political action committees to help those candidates financially.  For more information on each PAC, please click on the name of the PAC.

• HOSTPAC - HASC's Political Action Committee to support candidates for state legislative offices and statewide races.
  
• HOTELPAC - The American Hotel & Lodging Association's federal PAC that supports pro-lodging candidates for the United State Congress.
  
• NRA-PAC - The National Restaurant Association federal PAC that supports pro-restaurant candidates for the United States Congress. 

Contributions to a political action committee enable small businesses to pool their resources in an effort to make a larger difference in political campaigns.  PAC contributions do not buy votes, but help the industry gain access to political leaders. Both South Carolina and federal law require strict reporting of political action committees.  Your contribution, no matter how small, will help your business and our industry for several years.
